July 23, 2026 | The Invitational Golf Tournament | Supporting Let’s Cure Lucas & SickKids | Presented by Renokrew & Spark Charity Foundation
Each year, The Invitational proudly supports a meaningful cause that uplifts and empowers those in need. Our focus is on initiatives that create real impact, strengthen communities, and provide vital support to individuals facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Below are the organizations we have contributed to over the years.
For our 4th Annual Invitational, we were honoured to support after BREAST CANCER, an organization chosen by Carolyn Perry of Get a Better Mortgage in recognition of her generous contributions to our 2024 fundraising efforts. After BREAST CANCER provides essential post-mastectomy items such as bras, camisoles, and breast prostheses, to women who cannot otherwise afford them. As survival rates rise, so does the need for programs focused on quality of life and recovery. This organization ensures that women facing financial hardship receive the dignity, comfort, and support they deserve on their journey after treatment.
In both 2023 and 2024, our tournament proudly supported Sue McLay’s Fight Like a Girl program, benefiting the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. With violence against women remaining a critical issue, Sue’s self-defense initiative empowers women through education, confidence-building, and community engagement. Drawing on her background in karate and her experience working in a male-dominated industry, Sue’s passion continues to drive meaningful impact, providing women with essential tools for safety, empowerment, and resilience while supporting shelters across Canada.
For our inaugural Spark Invitational Golf Tournament, we proudly supported Aura Freedom International, a grassroots women’s organization dedicated to ending gender-based violence and human trafficking. Through education, advocacy, training, and survivor-centered initiatives, Aura Freedom works in Canada and South Asia to advance gender equality, empower marginalized women, and create a world where all women and girls live free from violence.
